As small boy I remember my mother who had a background as a dancer putting on music so we would dance together in the living room.

Right from the start I loved to dance and as I grew older and started going out to bars and dance halls, being on the dance floor moving to the music always felt like a good place to be.

As time went on, I got involved in helping to organize dances for Parents without Partners and the One Parent Family association, two organizations who raised money so that single parents could get assistance for taking their children out to enjoy events they might not ordinarily be able to afford.

Over time I decided to put on my own dances so people could go dancing and socializing with their friends.

And that is how Andy’s Dance Party came to be.

Over time I realized that playing my own music instead of hiring someone would also allow me to create a more complete theme to my events which I believe has set my functions apart.

I will always love you mom for giving me dance, it has added so much enjoyment to my life and as you did for me, I will continue to share dance with others.
